checking in and ranting…

It has been about a month since me and sis moved out to our own place —A fresh start, new location, & new vibes. loveeeee.

I’m still settling in this new spot and it’s the small things that make it feel homey —I’m almost there! I made my own contact-paper marble coffee table — and it’s made of plywood and two Uhaul boxes. *pats myself on the back* Also, I added some abstract paintings to wrap up the living space. Next, I’m still looking for small touches to jazz up my bedroom. Gotta keep reminding myself to ‘buy what I need and less of what I want” :) Me trying to be a minimalist but wants all these things.

Fresh out the shower and waiting on my hair to dry… for those who know about that dyed hair life, hair takes foreverrrrr to dry! I think this will be my last year with blue hair. Something about feeling refreshed and recharged after a shower, I tend to get hyped, inspired and creative vibes late into the night. I’m just a night-owl. If only I can feel like that during the day!

I’ve been on a small break since the move and I’m almost ready to hop on some creative projects. Do I miss it, sure do! Do I need a recharge, HECK YESSS. 2021 is all about prioritizing and setting out goals. It’s hard when you want to do so many things in a short period time but in reality, you gotta work with time. I’m still learning.

Playing YouTube Vlogs in the background made me realize how much I miss traveling and posting about my trips. With this new space, it’s an opportunity to do other creative projects besides traveling? We’ll see. For now, I just want to sit back on this comfy couch and binge watch TV, my guilty pleasure.
