Favorite Locations in South Korea!

My favorite locations in South Korea!

South Korea is one of my favorite locations so far. Honestly, there is so much to do and so much to see. I love the culture and the people, here are some of my favorite spots:

GWANGALLI BEACH

GWANGALLI BEACH - This beach is located in Busan and is so lively and spectacular during the night! The beach waters are extremely calm and the sand is super soft. Great for a stroll while enjoying live entertainment across the beach. There are performers all over the beach singing their heart-outs and you can’t help but stop and listen. You can feel the amazing energy radiate from the performers and listen to a wide array of genres —just pure talent! To top it off, the Gwangan Bridge is the perfect backdrop for the performances. SIMPLY A GORGEOUS VIEW! Amazing nightlife scene and eats.

NAMSAN TOWER AKA “N SEOUL TOWER” - this tower is located in Seoul and is known for its wall of locks. You can hike up to the tower or take a cable car ride. There are locks available for purchase before going up to the tower — they are one-time-use locks with no keys. Write a cool message and scope out the location to place your lock. You have a whole view of the city from the top and additional attractions such as Hello Kitty Island. There are so many photo-worthy spots to capture your memories for all ages.

NAMSAN TOWER AKA “N SEOUL TOWER”

CENTRAL SEOUL PLAZA, “I SEOUL. U” — located near the city hall lies a huge patch of grass surrounded by their city buildings/skyscrapers. A great place to capture some awesome photos in the city surrounded by the busy streets! The sign is a part of their city’s brand campaign, learn more here.

LOTUS LANTERN FESTIVAL — if you are traveling here during late April, this festival is must see!! In celebration of Buddha’s birthday, there are over thousands of lanterns hanging through out the Samgwangsa Temple. It’s definitely a hike to get up to the temple but definitely worth it! Of course, this celebration is happening all over Korea so you will spot lanterns through out the city as well. A great way to immerse into the cultural and learn about the Buddhist Religion.
